At Generator Power we believe
that our clients shouldn’t need to be experts in the field
of temporary power solutions. In other words, if you have a temporary
power problem, just tell us where and what you need power to, and
then forget about it!
It really doesn’t matter whether you need power to a small
factory unit, or whether you need a decent sized power station –
we have all the resources required, in-house, to provide you with
the solution. |
A professionally supplied
temporary power installation should comprise of the following; |
• |
A generating set of the
correct output capability, the correct voltage and frequency specification
and the correct phase configuration, all compatible to each customers
individual requirements. |
• |
An appropriately specified
bulk fuel tank, connected to the generator to ensure a continuous,
uninterrupted supply of fuel with no risk of leakage or spillage. |
• |
Correctly specified power
cables, to safely transmit the power to the customers load via the
distribution system. |
• |
A distribution system comprising
distribution boards, bus-bars, fuses or breakers, overload and/or
earth fault protection, plugs, sockets, transformers, etc., as required,
ALL TO AN APPROVED SPECIFICATION. |
• |
Automatic or manual change
over facility |
• |
Installation by approved
contractors. |
• |
Regular and appropriate
maintenance and safety check visits by appropriately trained personnel. |
• |
Re-fuelling arrangements. |
• |
In addition, many applications
require High Voltage transformers and distribution equipment to
suit customers HV applications. |
At generator Power, all
of these are available from within the organisation.
Key to our unique ability is our team of NICEIC approved contractors.
Many rental companies lay claim to a large fleet of generators and
auxiliary equipment – none have the in-house ability to supply
you with an NICEIC approved installation on your site. Other companies
rely on outside contractors to install their equipment. This puts
another stage in the supply chain with the potential for poor communication,
mis-interpretation of requirements, etc. |
By using our own, highly
trained installation personnel, as well as our own equipment, we
can ensure that the project runs smoothly and safely, and especially
that there can be no incompatibility between the generator, the
distribution equipment and the installation. |
