We’re once again supporting Walking With The Wounded by supplying our generators for their Cumbrian Challenge and Balmoral Challenge.
Walking With The Wounded offer assistance to veterans who have been physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged by their service and assist them in gaining independence through new long careers outside of the military.
The Cumbrian Challenge takes place in the Lake District from 12 – 13 May, and their new Balmoral Challenge is being held in the Cairngorms on Armed Forces Day in June.
Both events see teams of four take on one of three challenging walking routes in the fells above Grasmere or the mountains above Balmoral Castle and every team that takes part supports a veteran back into independence and employment.
